WANA (May 18) – The head of Iran’s Judiciary stated: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has never hesitated—and never will—to boldly declare its support for the oppressed and for any movement anywhere in the world that stands in defense of Islam.”

Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said: “The global arrogance, led by the criminal United States, exploits international law for its own purposes. They label a nation’s defense of its dignity, honor, and homeland as illegitimate, while absolving aggressors and showering them with political, financial, and military support.”

The Chief Justice added: “In the resistance movement and among all countries and groups supporting the resistance axis, we must make greater use of the capacities of political, legal, and judicial diplomacy. This is an area where we have neglected some important dimensions. We must, using the very same international laws that false claimants of human rights cling to in order to reverse the roles of oppressor and oppressed, launch broad and comprehensive international actions against the true criminals.”

He continued: “Without a doubt, the resistance front has achieved great and historic victories on the battlefield against oppressors and aggressors. But we must acknowledge that in some areas, especially in political and legal diplomacy, more effort, cooperation, and shared thinking are needed. We need to redefine what political and judicial diplomacy means, understand its broader impacts, and reach practical and unified strategies.”

Ejei emphasized: “To advance the lofty goals of the resistance front, we must bring together different ideas, approaches, and tools. At times, we’ve overlooked this and paid the price. On the other hand, we must be vigilant against enemy infiltration. The enemy is constantly seeking to penetrate various levels of the resistance front, and we cannot afford to be caught off guard.”

He stated: “From the very beginning of its establishment, the Islamic Republic of Iran has supported the resistance front, and it will continue to do so with full commitment. We have no fear in loudly declaring that we support Palestine, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the brave people of Yemen, and all components of the resistance axis. The arrogant powers are furious that Iran stands with the resistance, and they know that many of their sinister goals have been thwarted because of Iran’s firm stance.”

The Judiciary Chief said: “For nearly a year and a half, the Zionist regime has martyred over 52,000 people in the Gaza Strip. Yet the bully claims to be seeking peace with force! You are both a criminal and a supporter of criminals—what kind of peace are you talking about?! The multi-ton bombs of your regime have flattened Gaza’s hospitals, and then you speak of peace?”

He added: “The forces of evil and arrogance support, enable, and collaborate with each other in committing crimes. Therefore, it is unacceptable for us Muslims to be in conflict with one another. We share deep foundational values, and we must rely on these commonalities to stand against the oppressors and tyrants—those who in Gaza have outdone history’s worst criminals.”

Mohseni Ejei concluded: “We Muslims and supporters of the resistance are today facing liars and criminals—some of whom are deliberately killing patients, doctors, and aid workers in Gaza, while others openly support this massacre and then talk about ‘fighting terrorism.’ It is truly laughable.”
